This presents an excellent opportunity for an up and coming Assistant Accountant or Accountant to work in a broad role with excellent development opportunties. Suits someone who is comfortable reviewing AP/AR as well as owning month end and working with the Senior Accountant and FM on year end.

This role has a explicit pathway to Senior Accountant with more exposure across technical accounting and financial analysis, and passing off the AP/AR review to someone else as they build the team.

The role
n

Full responsibility of month end reporting
n
Review AP/AR and oversee junior accountant/s
n




Analysis & interpretation of company performance and in depth analysis of clinical performance
n
Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
n
Maintain fixed asset register
n
Dealing with external Accountants, Tax Advisers, and Auditors
n
Being a key member with regards to annual audit and half yearly audit review
n
Compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS etc
n
Consolidating monthly results with commentary / analyses of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget / forecast
n

About you
n

Working towards CA/CPA or desire to commence
n
Open to audit or business services 1st mover
n
Strong English communication skills, verbal and written;
n
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is essential.
