Job Description
We're looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Full-Time Commis Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn and ready to build their career in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.

You'll play an important role in supporting the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking and maintaining a clean and organised workstation. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, you'll continue to develop your skills while contributing to smooth and efficient service.
n
Availability to work, AM, PM and overnight shifts is essential.
n
What You'll Do (but not limited to):
n
n
Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes across à la carte, buffet, banqueting and room service.
n
Support daily mise-en-place and kitchen prep to ensure service runs smoothly.
n
Prepare ingredients and cook basic dishes under the direction of senior chefs.
n
Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
n
Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver consistent and high-quality meals.
n
Follow direction from senior chefs while building your technical skills and kitchen knowledge.
n
Contribute to a positive team environment and support efficient service during busy periods.
n

We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing their culinary career and eager to contribute to a high-performing team within a premium hotel environment.

You'll bring:

Previous kitchen experience in a hotel or similar rapid-paced workplace.

Exposure to à la carte service, highly regarded particularly for restaurant service.

A solid understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.

Strong time management skills and the ability to stay organised under pressure.

A positive and team-focused attitude with clear communication skills.
n
Willingness to learn, take direction and continuously improve.

Availability to work evening shifts and overnight shifts is essentia
