As our Analyst, Corporate Risk Advisory & Controls based in either NSW or QLD and reporting to the Group Manager Assurance is responsible for supporting Corporate divisions to adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key role in assessing TSEG's compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks, and the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment.
A few of your responsibilities
Perform risk and control assessments across Corporate functions to identify, evaluate and mitigate operational, compliance and regulatory risks.
Execute control testing and walkthroughs to assess design and operating effectiveness, identify gaps and support continuous improvement opportunities.
Partner with business stakeholders and control owners to strengthen risk management practices, clarify control responsibilities and drive effective remediation outcomes




Provide risk and compliance advice on business and regulatory change initiatives, ensuring risks, obligations and controls are appropriately identified and embedded
Support incident, issue and action management, including root cause analysis, remediation tracking and oversight of audit and assurance outcomes
Prepare risk and compliance reporting and insights for management and governance forums, while maintaining accurate records within the Group's GRC system
What we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative professional who can deliver quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Experience in Risk, Compliance, Assurance or Controls Testing, ideally within a casino, gaming, banking, corporate or government environment
Strong risk and control mindset with the ability to identify control gaps, assess effectiveness and provide practical recommendations
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience conducting risk assessments, control reviews and root cause analysis
Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and build trusted relationships across the business.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Auditing, Risk, Law, Economics or a related discipline, with industry certifications viewed favourably
