About The Role

Group Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll oversee financial reporting, month-end, compliance, audit and taxation, while providing commercial insights and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end month-end close and preparation of monthly management accounts
Deliver financial reporting, variance analysis and insights to senior stakeholders
Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee reconciliations and journals
Manage statutory compliance, taxation and audit requirements
Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning
Partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial performance and cost control
Mentor and develop Finance team members, building capability and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, reporting and controls
About You
You are an experienced finance skilled who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
CA,



CPA or equivalent qualification
Significant experience in a complex, high-volume or multi-site environment
Strong technical accounting capability and a solid understanding of IFRS
Proven experience across month-end, financial reporting, audit and statutory compliance
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning
Strong leadership and stakeholder skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes
Advanced Excel and financial systems capability
A continuous improvement mindset, with a strong eye for detail and a practical approach to solving problems
