Medical Receptionist / Patient Concierge – Dermatology & Laser Clinic

About the role
n
As our Patient Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic, playing a key role in shaping their overall experience. This is a true front-of-house, patient-facing role focused on creating a welcoming, calm and qualified environment for patients, clinicians and staff. This role fulfils the traditional medical receptionist function but also plays a key role in ensuring clear communication between patient and doctor.

Key responsibilities
n
Act as the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic
n
Welcome patients warmly and assist with check-in flow and waiting room management
n
Maintain a visible, calm and reassuring presence at the front desk
n
Answer a high volume of inbound calls professionally and confidently
n
Book consultations and procedures accurately
n
Explain fees, deposits and appointment policies clearly
n
Manage payments, invoicing and daily reconciliation
n




Coordinate communication between patients and doctors
n
Proactively manage cancellations and waitlists
n
Support general administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly
n
About you
n
A history of excellent customer service
n
A strong customer focus and natural warmth
n
Confidence on the phone with a clear, qualified manner
n
Positive energy and enthusiasm
n
Initiative and forward-thinking (you anticipate questions and solve problems)

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
n
Reliability and professionalism
n
Previous medical reception experience is highly regarded but not essential for an exceptional candidate with strong customer service experience
