Permanant Part time position (64 hours per fortnight)
About The Role
Join the Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing Team within Barwon Health's Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services (MHDAS).
This specialist public mental health service provides integrated, recovery-oriented care to young people aged ***** years experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges, including dual diagnosis and complex psychosocial presentations.
As a Youth Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver evidence-based assessment, treatment and care coordination within a multidisciplinary team. You will support young people with complex needs, including co-occurring AOD concerns and psychosocial vulnerability, working collaboratively with families, primary care providers, education and community partners to ensure coordinated, recovery-focused care.
This role operates within a seven-day rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and recovery-focused interventions
Provide evidence-based mental health and AOD treatment for young people aged *****
Undertake risk assessment and safety planning in line with clinical governance standards
Contribute to coordinated care planning with families and partner services
What We're Looking For
Relevant qualification and current registration (Nursing, OT, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent)
Experience working with young people with complex mental health and AOD presentations
Strong risk formulation and recovery-oriented treatment planning skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and 7-day roster
