Job Description
n
Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas in pristine condition
n
Perform hedge and tree trimming
n
Complete mowing, edging, and whipper snipping
n
Control weeds and pests through herbicide application
n
Rake and blow leaves; prune and dispose of dying vegetation
n
Plant, mulch, water, and maintain flowers and shrubs
n
Maintain irrigation systems
n
Oversee the outdoor presentation of facilities, including BBQ and pool maintenance
n
Keep mechanical equipment and tools in valuable working order
n
Work 38 hours per week between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday
n
Help ensure resort grounds are safe, clean, visually appealing, and presented to a high standard for residents and visitors
n

Requirements
n
n
A "C" class drivers licence
n
Relevant gardening experience in a similar role
n
Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous
n
ACDC chemical licence is advantageous
n
Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower
n
Physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying
n
Initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
n
Role is subject to a pre-employment medical check
n
