As the Automation Lead, you will drive enterprise-wide improvement by embedding smarter ways of working across the business.
You won't just design solutions you will deliver, embed and scale them, using automation, systems and AI as practical enablers.
Reporting directly to the COO, this role sits outside IT and is focused on execution and outcomes.
You will operate at the intersection of operations, technology and commercial priorities translating real business problems into solutions that stick.

You Will
Reduce operational friction and inefficiency at scale
Lift system adoption and simplify how teams get work done

What You'll Do
Maintain a prioritised pipeline of improvement initiatives, quantifying where manual effort and rework are concentrated and sequencing the work by measurable business outcome
Own automation delivery end to end - problem definition, scope, build,



stabilisation and handover — including dependencies, blockers and momentum
Translate complex, ambiguous operational challenges into clear requirements and delivery plans that survive contact with a busy business
Evaluate, integrate, and optimise our ERP and core enterprise platforms, and apply automation and AI-enabled tooling where it earns its place, working alongside our internal developers and external vendors
Drive adoption and behavioural change so solutions are embedded in day-to-day operations.

Partner with operational leaders and frontline teams across four divisions and five states, simplifying technical concepts into practical actions
What You Bring
Proven experience delivering transformation, automation or operational improvement at scale
Strong business analysis capability — structuring ambiguity into clear, actionable problems
High technical literacy across systems, integrations, data and AI-enabled tools
Experience influencing senior stakeholders across operations and technology
Strong commercial judgement balancing speed, risk, cost and value
A results-driven mindset, focused on outcomes, adoption and measurable impact
