About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to manage and coordinate the daily schedule and provide supporting tasks of the Director of Operations, facilitating a focused high quality, and efficient service to achieve a high level of performance in a demanding executive environment.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Manage and organise all administrative aspects of the office of the Director of Operations, including email monitoring, appointment scheduling, providing documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform confidential secretarial and other administrative duties as required by the Director of Operations and operate with a high level of independence. As well as the ability to set realistic work goals and objectives, effectively prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion and the meeting of deadlines.
- Provide organisation and collation of agendas, co-ordination of meetings, and perform confidential and accurate minute recording of meetings and distribution as required.
- Identify, monitor, and attend to urgent enquiries and issues on behalf of the Director of Operations assuming an appropriate level of autonomy and self-directedness to issue resolution.




- Produce high quality documents and records and exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
