Operations Accountant | Darra | $120K + Super

I am partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation, who are looking to hire a commercially minded operations accountant.

You will:

- Manage month-end accounting activities including journals, accruals, reconciliations and financial close.
- Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and ensuring financial records are accurate and supported.
- Prepare monthly P&L; reporting, analyse key movements and provide commentary on financial performance.
- Assist with statutory reporting, financial disclosures, BAS, tax and other compliance requirements.
- Maintain fixed asset records, including capital expenditure, disposals and depreciation.
- Manage inventory accounting, including stock reconciliations, valuation and investigation of variances.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, production performance and operational results to identify cost movements and financial trends.




- Develop KPI reporting, dashboards and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Partner with production, operations and other stakeholders to provide financial insight and support business performance.
- Coordinate audit requirements and ensure supporting schedules and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have, or be working towards CA/CPA, or be suitably qualified by experience, will have experience working within the manufacturing industry and will have experience of working with ERP software.
