Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Cancer Care as our Clinical Nurse Consultant. The Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 3 is a Senior Nursing leadership position responsible for delivering advanced clinical expertise and strategic leadership across the Cancer Care Service. Working collaboratively with Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, and Operational teams, you will support service planning, workforce development, research, and the implementation of best-practice cancer care initiatives.





This influential position combines advanced clinical expertise with strategic leadership to drive safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care across the oncology service.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead innovative programs, enhance treatment safety, support the integration of emerging therapies, and champion quality initiatives that improve outcomes for people throughout their cancer journey.

What you will bring to the role * Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current Driver's License and willingness to use same as required for the position.

- Minimum seven years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least five years full time equivalent experience in Oncology and post graduate qualifications in Oncology or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in Nursing/Midwifery practice.
- Demonstrated advanced communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of mediums and proven application of the practice development framework to clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the initiation, utilisation and review of evidence-based research.
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic and clinical service planning and expertise in the management of organisational and cultural change.
- Ability to apply clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy with the ability to work effectively both as a member of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
