Kingaroy Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract basis. This is a rural healthcare opportunity in Queensland, starting 28 September 2026 and running through to 25 October 2026. The role offers up to 80 hours per fortnight and is ideal for a clinician with solid emergency experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated emergency department experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Proven triage assessment skills and experience
- Rural and remote healthcare experience or willingness to adapt to a regional setting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or acute care nursing
