Our client is seeking a Program Scheduler to provide support to the North Coast Region for the Significant Projects program of works. The role will be performed within the client's North Coast Regional Office which is at Buderim until the project team is moved onto site near Caloundra (TBC).
The North Coast Region's Significant Projects delivery team is responsible for managing the delivery of the region's General Election Commitments program of infrastructure projects to be delivered within agreed time, budget and scope.

End Contract Date: 18 October 2028

The role of the Program Scheduler is to provide Primavera/Planner/Scheduler support and assist multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver the associated projects for North Coast Region.
Role accountabilities include:
- Training, supporting, mentoring and coaching staff in general scheduling practise and in the use or Primavera P6;
- Robust attention to detail ensuring accuracy of all work produced;
- Ability to work effectively within diverse project team's environment to meet required deliverables;
- Ability to think strategically, and align work methodologies to those of a dynamic Program;
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent time management skills including managing critical and often conflicting timeframes effectively with required results;
- Ability to communicate effectively with persons at varying seniority levels;
- Ability to develop strong rapport and relations with team members, to provide effective support and play a central coordination support role within the team;
- Advanced listening skills so that issues and actions are recorded concisely and requested tasks carried out accurately in accordance with instructions;
- Skilful at one-to-one interaction to respond to task clarification requirements; and
- Being assertive when necessary to influence others to achieve deadlines.

The maximum estimated number of hours for this contract is 4000 hours. This is based on the Program Scheduler working a 24-month contract from letter of acceptance. Note that the contract is for a minimum of 2 days per week however days per week may be varied depending on workload and project needs, up to the total of 4000 hours.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 10 years' civil commercial planning, construction scheduling and reporting experience for civil infrastructure projects;
The other evaluation criteria that will be used to evaluate offers are:
1. Capability and Experience;
- Detailed knowledge and extensive experience in the use of the Oracle Primavera Suite and other applications such as Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and scheduling of road and transport infrastructure projects and sound knowledge of the relevant construction techniques and practices.
2. Interpersonal Skills and Relationship Management
- Substantial level of skill in working autonomously, setting goals and identifying outcomes, while being part of a team; and
- Substantial level of skill in oral and written communication, negotiation skills and in writing clear and concise technical reports.
