Our client is seeking a dynamic, phone-confident Outbound Caller to serve as the frontline voice generating qualified mortgage leads across the Australian market. In this performance-driven role, you will conduct outbound calls to Australian homeowners and prospective buyers, perform independent web/directory research to build target contact lists, qualify prospective borrowers, and book appointments for senior brokers. This role offers an hourly rate paired with performance commissions for qualified lead conversions.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing mortgage brokerage based in Sydney, Australia, specializing in home loan refinancing and first-home buyer financing solutions. Focused on expanding their market share across Australia, they are onboarding an experienced, self-motivated remote Outbound Caller to drive outbound prospecting, source targeted leads, and fuel their broker sales pipeline.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible schedule during Australian Business Hours (AEST/AEDT) (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

- Conduct targeted cold calls to prospective Australian clients interested in mortgage refinancing or first-home buyer packages.
- Perform independent online research using Google Maps, digital directories, and public records to source and build daily outbound prospect lists.
- Qualify leads against client criteria, identifying high-intent "hot prospects" ready for mortgage brokerage consultations.
- Schedule qualified consultation appointments and execute clean lead handoffs to Sydney-based mortgage brokers.
- Maintain accurate daily contact logs and update lead progression statuses in Google Sheets / tracking systems.
- Adapt cold calling scripts and communication approaches dynamically based on prospect feedback and local market trends.




- Compile clear end-of-day activity reports detailing call volume, contact rates, prospect sentiment, and lead quality metrics.

Requirements

- Proven track record in outbound telemarketing, cold outreach, and B2C appointment setting.
- Outstanding verbal English communication with a clear, professional, and engaging phone presence.
- Demonstrated ability to research, source, and organize targeted lead lists independently.
- Comfortable utilizing softphones, VoIP systems, and spreadsheet-based tracking tools (Cloud Softphone / VoIP Systems, Auto-Dialers, Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Maps, Email, Daily Reporting Dashboards).
- Background in mortgage brokerage, Australian finance products, or financial services telemarketing (Bonus).
