Employment Type: Temporary Full Time, 38 hours per week until Jan 2027 . Temporary roles are available to visa holders, with contracts issued in accordance with visa conditions. Visa holders will be considered where no suitable Australian citizen or permanent resident is identified.

Remuneration: Allied Health Assistant Level 2-3: $1,287.66 - $1,423.69 per week+ 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Achieve Something Great
Join the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults as they regain independence and work towards their personal goals following a hospital stay. TACP is a unique, client-centred reablement program that supports older people to maximise their health, wellbeing and quality of life within the community. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering therapy and care in clients' homes, supporting interventions such as home exercise programs, self-care retraining, community access and transport to appointments. Working under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals and Team Leaders, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to helping older adults achieve the best possible outcomes while maintaining their independence and connection to the community.

You are an enthusiastic and compassionate Allied Health Assistant who enjoys working with older people and supporting them to achieve their goals. You have strong communication and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals and take pride in supporting clients and their families throughout their reablement journey. You are organised,

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification or Minimum 12 months full time equivalent relevant experience with commitment to undertake the Certificate IV in AHA within 12 month period.
- Can you describe a time when you were delegated a task by a supervising Allied Health Professional that required you to manage competing priorities? How did you ensure you stayed within your scope of practice, met deadlines, and sought assistance when needed?
- In your previous roles, how have you adapted your communication style to effectively interact with both clinical staff and patients? Can you also share how you've applied Work Health and Safety principles in a healthcare setting?

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
