Our client, a WA state government agency is looking for an ICT Project Lead to drive end-to-end IT initiatives that deliver real business transformation. Working closely with the Senior Project Leader, you will manage complex ICT projects from inception to completion-ensuring seamless delivery within established scope, budget, timeline, and quality benchmarks.
You will act as a pivotal bridge between technical teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders, maintaining a strong focus on risk mitigation, change control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

- Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end planning, definition, and delivery of ICT projects while analyzing business processes for automation and modern technology solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate strong communication channels across cross-functional teams, external vendors, and business partners.
- Change Control & Implementation: Assess and execute project changes, developing robust adoption and communication strategies for end users.
- Governance & Risk: Ensure full compliance with governance standards, support project board reporting, and proactively manage project risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop user documentation, training materials,



and post-implementation reviews to drive ongoing performance.

Skills & Experience Required

- Proven experience managing small-to-large ICT projects using structured frameworks, governance models, and change management processes.
- Strong analytical, process-mapping, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of effective vendor and stakeholder management.
- High attention to detail with advanced technical documentation and administrative proficiency.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Desirable Criteria

- Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum).
- Current, valid Driver's License.
