Join the welcoming team of headspace Emerald as an Adminsitrative Support Officer and become the friendly face that helps young people, families and community members to access vital mental health and wellbeing services.

As the first point of contact for our centre, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What will a typical day look like?

- Welcome and support young people, families and visitors accessing headspace servicesbn.
- Manage reception, enquiries, and appointment bookings in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Provide information about headspace services and connect young people with the support they need.
- Maintain accurate client records and data across a range of systems.
- Coordinate office supplies, resource and general centre operations.
- Assist with the management of fleet vehicles, including bookings, servicing, maintenance and cleanliness.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Certificate III in business/office administration (or related discipline) and experience in a similar position; or
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience and willingness to achieve a Certificate III in the recommended time from enrolment.

What you will bring to the role:

- A passion and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of Central Queenslanders.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- The ability to identify and embed solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working within a high-performance framework where you are accountable for KPIs on program delivery and outcomes, within a face-paced solutions focussed environment.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- A robust communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.

Other Requirements:

- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
