Our client is seeking a skilled Plastic Welder to join their manufacturing team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid experience in polymer welding and a genuine commitment to safe work practices. Working at $55.30 per hour, you'll be part of a trade's environment where quality and compliance matter, and your technical expertise will be valued from day one.

- Specialise in polyethylene welding using butt welding, electrofusion, and extrusion techniques
- $55.30 per hour, temporary placement with potential for ongoing work
- Work within a manufacturing environment that prioritises safety, quality systems, and skilled standards

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in polymer (PE) welding techniques, with a solid understanding of different welding methods
- Proven track record working in trades or manufacturing environments,



ideally with exposure to quality systems
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and WHS compliance in all aspects of your work
- Basic computer skills to support documentation and quality processes
- Ability to work accurately and consistently to specification in a production setting

Desirable Qualifications

- PMBWELD301E - Join polyethylene plastic using butt welding
- PMBWELD302E - Join polyethylene plastic using electrofusion welding,
- PMBWELD309E - Weld plastic using extrusion techniques
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- White Card
- or a relevant trade certificate
