Be part of something recent at ONDC Hearing Specialists!
We’re excited to be opening our newest hearing clinic in Grange in late October, and we’re looking for a warm, organised and proactive person to join our team and help us establish this new location.
This is more than a traditional reception role. As the primary administration team member at Grange, you’ll help manage the day-to-day running of the clinic, support our Audiologists and clients, and play an important role in helping the clinic grow.
The position will be approximately 4 days per week and would suit someone who enjoys variety, works well independently and takes pride in being organised and getting things done.
Previous audiology experience is not required, full training and support will be provided.
About the role
Our Grange clinic will initially operate with a smaller audiology schedule, with plans to grow from approximately one clinical day per week to three days per week over the next 12 months.
On consulting days, you’ll be the welcoming face of the clinic, managing reception, appointments and supporting our Audiologist and clients.
On non-consulting days, you’ll manage the administration and organisation of the Grange clinic while also supporting our wider ONDC team with recalls, referrals, appointment management and general administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and providing friendly, professional reception support
- Managing phone and email enquiries, appointments and the Audiologist’s calendar
- Processing payments and general reception administration
- Contacting clients for hearing review recalls and assisting with appointment bookings
- Processing referrals, correspondence and client documentation
- Maintaining accurate client records, recalls and follow-up tasks
- Assisting clients with basic hearing aid cleaning and troubleshooting once trained
- Preparing the clinic and documentation for upcoming appointments
- Maintaining clinic supplies, equipment and presentation
- Supporting our wider administration team during quieter periods and helping the Grange clinic grow.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, capable and takes initiative.
You’ll ideally be someone who:
- Genuinely enjoys helping people and providing great customer service
- Is confident communicating with clients of different ages and backgrounds
- Is comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Takes initiative and looks for what needs to be done
- Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail
- Is confident with computers and comfortable learning new systems
- Enjoys being part of a team and is willing to learn.
Previous healthcare or medical reception experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.
