About the role

Remote Water Treatment Services is seeking an experienced Plumber with Trade Assistant (TA) or previous pipework experience to join our growing team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane QLD 4000, offering the opportunity to work with a company at the forefront of water treatment solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and water treatment equipment for our diverse client base. This position is pivotal to delivering high-quality service and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the water treatment industry.

Key responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and pipework in compliance with Australian building codes and standards

- Conduct diagnostic assessments of water treatment systems and identify technical issues requiring remediation

- Perform routine maintenance on water treatment equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity

- Collaborate with senior plumbers and engineers to complete complex installations and system upgrades

- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs to minimise downtime for clients

- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job

- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations

- Communicate effectively with clients regarding work progress, costs, and recommendations for system improvements

- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members as required

What we're looking for

- Current plumbing qualifications or recognised Trade Assistant (TA) certification in plumbing or pipework

- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial plumbing installations and repairs

- Sound knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and Australian Standards relevant to water systems

- Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in plumbing work





- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude for diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues

- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments

- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel between job sites

- A commitment to health and safety practices and attention to detail

- Previous experience in water treatment or filtration systems is highly desirable
