Hours: Permanent Part-time – 0.6 FTE. 3 days a week

The College is seeking a highly energetic Music Teacher for a permanent part-time role to start in 2027. The successful applicant will be appropriately qualified and ready to work within a professional and cohesive team. They will be teaching in both Junior and Senior School.
Key Selection Criteria
the successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:
- Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible based Christian Church
- The capacity to play a variety of instruments is an advantage
- Preferred experience with ensembles (choir or concert band) and teaching Music in a junior school context
- A well-informed understanding of contemporary learning and teaching practices, research and pedagogy
- Demonstrated critical analysis and problem-solving skills, experience and commitment to collaborative leadership within a team environment.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning
- Demonstrated valuable team leadership skills:
including approachability; listening skills; conflict resolution; exercising sound judgement; and showing initiative
- Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines and concurrently manage a number of competing tasks
Qualifications
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
