We are seeking a skilled, motivated and safety-focused Industrial Electrician to join our Further Processing Plant in Edinburgh Park. You will be part of an established and diverse team who align with our values, are passionate and empowered to perform at pace to achieve big things.

n this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our production lines run smoothly by maintaining equipment and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimise downtime.

Daily Tasks:

- Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner.
- Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime through effective planned maintenance activities.
- Contribute to the implementation of planned maintenance programs




- Respond to reactive maintenance and electrical breakdowns in a timely
- Work within and contribute to Ingham’s policies, procedures, and maintenance standards
- Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace
- Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.

The Quality Ingredients for Success!

Just like our Chickens, there are a few essential qualities that we need and look for in this role:

- A Class: Electrical Licence SA
- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment with practical experience in installations, fault finding, repairs and maintenance on production equipment
- Strong Commitment to working Safely
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
- An active problem solver and quick thinker to ensure that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently
- Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing, and problem solving with the ability to multitask.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Competence using computer-based systems and maintenance software Maximo or similar maintenance program (CMMS) would be an advantage
- Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance.
