- Lead training for a major enterprise-wide ERP transformation

- D365, Workday, SAP, Oracle or Infor experience welcomed

- Join a complex, operationally focused Australian organisation

The opportunity

A large Australian organisation is undertaking a significant enterprise technology and business transformation. We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of training across the program.

This is an ERP-agnostic opportunity. We welcome candidates with training experience gained through Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Infor or comparable enterprise platform implementations and integrations.

You will work closely with functional consultants, process owners, subject-matter experts, change leads and project stakeholders to translate future-state processes and system functionality into practical, role-based learning experiences.

This position is based in Brisbane CBD and requires attendance in the office five days per week. It is not a hybrid or remote position.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and manage the program’s training strategy, plan and delivery schedule.

- Conduct training needs analysis across impacted roles, functions and locations.

- Translate functional designs, process maps and technical documentation into accessible training.

- Create role-based curricula, facilitator guides, work instructions, quick-reference guides, simulations, videos and digital learning content.

- Coordinate classroom, virtual, hands-on and self-paced learning activities.

- Facilitate training for end users, process owners, SMEs and super users.

- Coordinate training environments, system access, scenarios,

sample data and delivery logistics.

- Manage training schedules, attendance, completion tracking, evaluation and readiness reporting.

- Establish and support a network of super users and training champions.

- Use feedback from testing and business-readiness activities to refine learning content.

- Support cutover, go-live and hypercare through refresher training, FAQs, knowledge articles and floor support.

- Measure training effectiveness, user confidence and adoption, identifying areas requiring further support.

- Transition training materials and ongoing learning responsibilities into the business.

About you

- Seven or more years’ experience leading training for technology, process or business transformation programs.

- Training leadership experience across at least one major ERP, finance, supply chain, HR or enterprise systems implementation.

- Experience with D365, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Infor or another comparable enterprise platform.

- An understanding of business processes across areas such as finance, procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, sales, workforce management or master data.

- Strong capability across training needs analysis, curriculum design, content development, facilitation and learning evaluation.

- The ability to convert complex functional and technical information into transparent,

practical and role-specific learning.

- Experience developing work instructions, job aids, process simulations, training videos, e-learning or digital adoption content.

- Proficiency with learning management or authoring platforms and tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Experience coordinating training logistics, environments, attendance, completion reporting and readiness metrics.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and organisational skills.

- A contemporary approach to learning, including virtual delivery, self-paced content, digital learning tools and the practical use of AI.

Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed workforces will be highly regarded. Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, food production, agriculture, logistics or another supply-chain-intensive environment would also be advantageous.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in Learning and Development, instructional design, change management, business improvement, project delivery, PROSCI, Agile or digital adoption are desirable.

Working arrangement

This is a fixed-term PAYG appointment based in Brisbane CBD. Candidates must be comfortable working from the office five days per week throughout the engagement.

If you have led training within a complex ERP or enterprise transformation and enjoy turning new systems and processes into practical learning experiences, we would welcome your application.
