About the opportunity:
Join a passionate and supportive Learning and Development team dedicated to developing the next generation of mental health Social Workers. Working across inpatient, residential and community services, you'll play a key role in shaping a skilled, confident and compassionate workforce while making a meaningful impact on consumer care.

In this role you will:
Provide practical, hands-on clinical education,



supervision and support to Early Career Graduate and Post Graduate Social Workers, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence required to deliver high-quality mental health care.

Design, coordinate and deliver education and professional development activities that meet the needs of Graduate Social Workers across inpatient, residential and community mental health services.

Be part of a cooperative multidisciplinary team, leading evidence-based education, fostering recovery-oriented practice and contributing to the recruitment, development and retention of the future mental health workforce.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

- Excellent clinical, teaching, communication, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt, prioritise and solve problems in a dynamic clinical environment.
- A positive, flexible and evidence-based approach to clinical education, supervision and supporting staff to deliver safe, high-quality mental health care.
- The ability to build respectful relationships, work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and foster a positive learning culture that supports growth, confidence and continuous improvement.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:





- Registration or Eligibility to Register with AASW
- Approved Social Worker Qualifications- Minimum Bachelor's degree.
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Social Work, Mental Health or AOD highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 Years experience Post Graduate experience in mental health
- Certificate 4 in Training and assessment desirable
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
- Previous experience across inpatient and community mental health settings
