About Aunty Grace
Aunty Grace is a rapidly growing Support at Home provider with a clear focus on improving how care is delivered — combining quality and care with smarter, more modern ways of working.
This role suits someone with strong quality experience who is motivated to improve systems, influence practice, and support teams through change as the sector evolves.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Quality & Practice, the Quality Compliance & Audit Lead is responsible for providing structured oversight and assurance that our systems, processes and practices remain effective, compliant and aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements.
You’ll lead our internal audit program, monitor compliance across the organisation, identify trends and areas for improvement, and help ensure Aunty Grace is always prepared for external audit and accreditation activity.
This isn’t a role that simply identifies what isn’t working. We’re looking for someone who can turn audit findings and compliance data into meaningful insights, communicate them clearly, and work collaboratively with teams to strengthen the way we operate.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You’ll take ownership of Aunty Grace’s internal audit and compliance assurance activities, including:
- Developing and maintaining our internal audit schedule and conducting audits across the business.
- Assessing compliance against organisational policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Identifying non-conformances, recurring issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitoring compliance trends and translating audit findings into clear reports, insights and recommendations.
- Maintaining effective audit tools, checklists and supporting compliance processes.
- Escalating significant risks or areas of non-compliance to the Head of Quality & Practice.
- Coordinating documentation and evidence for external audits and supporting accreditation preparation.
- Acting as a key point of contact for audit-related evidence requests.
- Working collaboratively with operational teams to strengthen compliance, quality and audit readiness across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring experience in quality assurance, auditing or compliance, ideally gained within aged care, health, community services or another standards-based environment.
You’re someone who notices the details without losing sight of the bigger picture. You can analyse information, identify patterns and gaps, and communicate your findings in a way that is clear, constructive and useful.
Strong reporting and communication skills will be important, as will your ability to build relationships across different teams. We’re looking for someone collaborative and solutions-focused who is comfortable working in an environment that continues to grow, change and improve.
Mandatory Screening Requirements
The offer of this role will be conditional on the preferred applicant successfully meeting the following criteria:
- The right to work in Australia.
- A National Criminal History Check / Police Check (working without supervision with vulnerable people) showing no disclosable Court Outcomes or Convictions.*
- Any other required screening to enable registration as a Responsible Person.*
- A current, valid Australian Driver’s Licence with no restrictions.
Why Work With Us?
At Aunty Grace we understand that providing outstanding care is all about connecting with people. You will be part of a new and better way of doing things, collaborate with a passionate team, and contribute to a culture that is all about constantly improving and adding value to our clients.
