Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Data and Integration Developer to join the Decision Support team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
The Data and Integration Developer is a technical role focused on building and maintaining the core data and integration foundations that support Decision Support at Northern Health.
You'll design, develop, and support reliable data pipelines, integrations, and platforms that ensure trusted, secure, and consistent data is available for reporting, operational use, and emerging data needs.
Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, this role also contributes to the safe enablement of AI‑assisted analytics by ensuring data is well‑structured, governed, and ready for responsible use within a complex healthcare environment.
It's an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic data developer keen to strengthen enterprise data foundations and make a meaningful impact through well‑engineered data solutions.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting data warehouse and integration solutions, with strong SQL and data engineering skills.
- A passion for building reliable,
well‑governed data foundations that enable trusted reporting, integration, and AI‑assisted data use.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to support operational data issues while contributing to ongoing platform improvement.
