About the role

Our client operates in a B2B environment, with a strong focus on industrial, manufacturing, packaging and distribution customers. Currently seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead the marketing function and play a key role in driving commercial growth across Australia and Recent Zealand.

This is a senior, commercially focused marketing leadership role, not simply a brand or digital position. You will own the marketing strategy while leading a multidisciplinary team across digital, eCommerce, SEO, brand, events, eDM, content, design, PR and online customer care.

You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior stakeholders across Sales, Product Development, Finance, Operations, Customer Service and IT to ensure marketing activity directly supports business priorities, customer growth and revenue.

What you'll be responsible for

- Develop and deliver the annual and quarterly marketing strategy.
- Lead, coach and develop the Marketing Team.
- Set the overall brand and communications direction.
- Own the marketing budget and measure ROI and commercial performance.
- Drive eCommerce strategy, growth and customer experience.
- Oversee major website, eCommerce and systems developments.
- Lead digital marketing and lead-generation strategy across SEO, PPC, social and email.
- Oversee eDM campaigns and conversion performance.
- Manage PR, media relationships, awards and corporate communications.




- Lead go-to-market strategies and new product launches.
- Ensure Sales teams have the collateral and tools needed to convert opportunities.
- Manage external agencies, suppliers and specialist partners.
- Report marketing performance, revenue contribution and pipeline to senior leadership.

About you

You are a commercially minded senior marketer who understands that great marketing needs to translate into revenue, pipeline, customer growth and stronger business performance.
You will bring:

- At least 8 years' marketing experience, including 3+ years in senior B2B marketing leadership.
- Strong B2B marketing experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, packaging, distribution or a related environment.
- Proven experience across digital marketing, SEO, PPC, social media, email and lead generation.
- Strong eCommerce experience, ideally at significant commercial scale.
- Experience managing an eCommerce channel generating seven figures in monthly revenue, or equivalent scale.
- Strong understanding of analytics, CRM, marketing automation and commercial reporting.
- Experience managing budgets and/or P&L.;
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Shopify or Shopify Plus experience is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant industry experience.
