About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Decoration Assistant to join our team! This role is primarily focused on embroidery production, with additional responsibilities in heat transfer/print application and retail sales. You'll be a key part of turning customer orders into finished, high-quality products — from setup to stitch-out to storefront.

What You'll Do

Embroidery (Primary Focus)

- Hoop garments and materials accurately for embroidery production

- Load, run, and monitor commercial embroidery machines

- Perform basic thread changes, tension adjustments, and troubleshooting

- Inspect finished embroidery for quality, consistent placement, and thread trims

- Assist with digitizing/file prep as needed (training provided)

Heat Transfer / Print

- Apply heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and printed transfers using heat press equipment

- Weed vinyl designs and prepare transfers for application

- Ensure proper temperature, pressure, and timing for various fabric types

Retail Sales

- Assist customers on the sales floor with product selection and custom order questions

- Operate point-of-sale system and process transactions





- Help merchandise and maintain a clean, organized retail space

- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service

What We're Looking For

- Prior embroidery machine experience preferred (not required — will train the right candidate)

- Comfortable with computers; experience in graphic design (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) is a big plus

- Comfortable learning recent equipment and following production processes

- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset

- Friendly, customer-facing communication skills

- Ability to multitask between production work and retail duties

- Reliable, punctual, and a team player

- Available to work on a regular roster including weekends.
