About the role

As a Store Person within our Civil Helicopters team, you are the backbone of our Perth warehouse operations. Our new modern warehouse, located close to Perth Airport, supports our Oil & Gas Platform (O&G; PTF), you will ensure that every part—from the smallest bolt to major components - is managed with precision and in total compliance with aviation regulations.

Reporting to the Manager of MS&L;, your mission is to enable service delivery excellence through rigorous inventory control and logistics management.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to:

- Quality Control: Perform inwards inspections on all products to ensure 100% compliance with CASA, EASA, and AAP QMS standards.
- Logistics Management: Oversee international and domestic freight moving between Perth, Europe, and our customer sites.
- Safe Dispatch: Package and prepare outgoing products tailored to the destination and transportation method.
- Specialized Handling: Monitor and control Dangerous Goods and consumable materials in strict accordance with Airbus requirements.
- Inventory Integrity: Actively participate in the Quarantine process and maintain up-to-date documentation following Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
- AOG Support: Participate in an on-call roster to support critical Aircraft-On-Ground services, ensuring our customers stay in the air.

This role must be able to be placed on the duty on call roster to support Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) services during normal working hours and outside of standard working hours.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking someone who can meet the below criteria.

Qualifications:

- Academic qualification in Logistics, Warehousing, Freight/Distribution or equivalent industry experience
- Current Australian Forklift License (or ability to attain within short timeframe)
- Valid Australian Driver's License

Knowledge & Experience:

- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in aeronautical logistics and warehousing
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of Aviation regulations (CASA/EASA) and ITAR
- Licensing: A current Australian Forklift License and valid Driver's License
- System Skills: Experience with SAP, MILIS, or similar ERP systems
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in managing Dangerous Goods and international freight
- Flexibility: Availability to join an on-call roster for AOG (Aircraft-On-Ground) support

Experience using SAP or MILIS, or another similar ERP system would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
