We’re seeking a proactive Planner / Scheduler to play a key role in coordinating maintenance activities across our Facilities Management team!
About the Role:
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, schedules and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered efficiently, safely and on time. Reporting to the Coordinator Building and Facilities, you'll be at the centre of our work management operations, coordinating customer requests, defects, maintenance activities and work orders while supporting operational teams and contractors to deliver quality outcomes for our community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Queensland Class C Driver Licence (or ability to obtain).
- Certificate IV in Business, Local Government, Asset Management or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience administering and coordinating computerised work management systems, preferably OneCouncil (TechnologyOne), Authority, or similar enterprise asset management platforms.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, asset management, work scheduling, contractor coordination or local government operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, maintenance trends, response times and performance metrics.
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
