Our client is a well-established and growing financial services organisation seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team in Sydney CBD.
This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and hands-on professional who enjoys working across finance, operations, governance and office management. Reporting to a senior leader within the business, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day running of multiple entities while helping maintain strong operational and compliance processes.

About the role
This is a broad and wide-ranging position that combines bookkeeping, business operations, governance support and office management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will become a trusted right-hand support to senior leadership and play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Bookkeeping
- End-to-end bookkeeping across multiple entities.
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Processing expense claims and corporate card reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end reporting and financial administration.
- Supporting audit preparation and compliance reporting.
- Maintaining financial records using MYOB and other accounting systems.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintaining company and compliance registers.
- Supporting AFSL-related reporting and documentation.
- Coordinating board and executive meeting agendas, papers and minutes.
- Assisting with ASIC lodgements and corporate governance administration.
- Maintaining policies, procedures and contract registers.
- Supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
Operations & Office Management
- Managing daily office operations and facilities.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and building management.
- Coordinating office events, meetings and corporate functions.
- Managing office administration, records and document control.
- Supporting HR administration, onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across the business.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a financial markets, trading, stockbroking, investment, wealth management or broader AFSL-regulated environment.
- Experience working within back-office operations functions.
- Hands-on bookkeeping experience, including reconciliations, AP/AR and financial administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience supporting governance, compliance or company secretarial activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and hands-on attitude with a willingness to take ownership.
- MYOB and advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
