We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our IS team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a robust possibility of extension.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering business and technology transformation initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with business leaders, operational teams, technology specialists and vendors, you'll help translate complex business needs into practical solutions that improve processes, systems and outcomes.
This role will see you involved across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to solution delivery, testing, business readiness and benefits realisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering, process analysis and solution design activities
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive business engagement
Document business, functional and non-functional requirements
Develop process maps, user stories and key BA artefacts
Support testing, defect management and solution validation
Assess business impacts and support change readiness
Identify risks, dependencies and process improvement opportunities
Partner with business and technology teams to deliver successful outcomes
Contribute to project governance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are a collaborative and proactive Business Analyst who enjoys working across both business and technology teams to deliver practical outcomes.
You'll bring:
Experience as Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments
Strong requirements gathering,
process mapping and business process improvement skills
Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing competing priorities
Proven capability translating business needs into clear, testable requirements
Hands-on experience supporting UAT, integration testing and defect management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
Exposure to BPMN, process modelling and requirements management tools
Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or other regulated environments will be highly regarded
