Reports To: Practice Director
Supervision Arrangements: Offsite primary supervisor as nominated by the employee (at the employee's expense), secondary supervision and day-to-day professional and ethical oversight, supervision and guidance provided by The Psychology Hub as contracted the practice, and monthly in-house peer group supervision led by a Clinical Psychologist.

Job Summary
As a Psychologist you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to clients across a range of areas. You will work autonomously within your area of expertise while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals. You may focus on one of two career progression tracks:

- Clinical Specialist Track: Focuses on deepening expertise in a particular psychological specialty.
- Practice Management Track: Combines clinical practice with the development of skills in business operations and management.

In either track, your role is to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the practice. You will also be responsible for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client retention, clinical outcomes, and business development.

Key Responsibilities
1. Therapeutic Interventions

- Provide individual and group psychological therapy using evidence-based interventions.
- Deliver psychological services in specialised areas (e.g., trauma, child psychology, anxiety, or other fields based on your experience).
- Tailor interventions to meet client needs, adjusting treatment as necessary.

2. Client Management and Treatment Planning
- Conduct initial client assessments, formulate treatment plans, and review client progress regularly.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with APS Code of Ethics and AHPRA regulations.
- Collaborate with external healthcare providers, agencies, and community resources to support client outcomes.

3. Specialisation and Career Development (Clinical Specialist Track)
- Develop expertise in a chosen field (e.g., trauma, autism, family therapy) through ongoing professional development, certification, and supervision.
- Participate in research, case studies, or publications to further contribute to your field of expertise.
- Lead or participate in marketing initiatives related to your specialty area, building the practice's profile in your chosen field.

4. Practice Management and Business Development (Practice Management Track)
- Assist in the management of day-to-day business operations, contributing to the smooth running of the practice.
- Participate in business development activities such as client retention strategies, marketing, and public relations.




- Take on leadership responsibilities as a Practice Lead for specific operational tasks (e.g., finance, marketing, or staff supervision).
- Mentor and support junior staff, providing supervision as you progress in your career.

5. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain electronic client notes and session reports in line with practice and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including privacy laws, mandatory reporting, and other legal frameworks relevant to psychology practice in Australia.
- Complete incident reports and actively participate in risk management processes as needed.

6. Professional Development and Supervision
- Engage in regular professional development activities, including attending CPD workshops, pursuing additional certifications, and participating in peer and clinical supervision.
- Contribute to the learning environment by participating in in-house training and offering mentorship to provisional psychologists or less experienced colleagues.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential:

- Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Experience in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and time effectively.
- Commitment to professional development, supervision, and continuous learning.

Desirable:
- Specialisation in a chosen field (for Clinical Specialist Track).
- Experience in practice management or business operations (for Practice Management Track).
- Prior experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff.
- Proven ability to meet KPIs related to client retention, satisfaction, and revenue generation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Client Satisfaction and Retention:

- Maintain at least 80-90% client retention and achieve consistently positive client feedback.

2. Clinical Outcomes:
- Achieve measurable improvements in client outcomes, as evidenced by client progress reports and feedback.

3. Business Development (Management Track):
- Demonstrate active contribution to marketing efforts, staff mentoring, and operational improvements.
- Meet individual financial targets, including client contact hours and revenue generation.

A Psychologist will work within their supportive, nature-themed environment in Cleveland. The practice promotes a collaborative culture focused on professional growth and providing high-quality care to clients. Flexibility is offered in the role, depending on the career track chosen (Clinical Specialist or Practice Management).

Career Progression Opportunities
With this practice, you can choose between two career pathways:

- Clinical Specialist Track: Develop expertise in a specific field of psychology, progressing towards Senior or Principal Psychologist roles.
- Practice Management Track:
