Food & Beverage Supervisor at Hyatt Centric Melbourne:

Hyatt Centric Melbourne is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our agile team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our restaurant and events operations. You will support daily operations, lead a high-performing team, and uphold Hyatt’s premium service standards.

Some of the responsibilities include:

- Supervise and support Food & Beverage team members to deliver Supervise and support Food & Beverage team members to deliver professional hospitality service




- Oversee daily restaurant and event operations
- Manage cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers
- Train and onboard new employees in line with Hyatt standards
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and OHS requirements
- Support the implementation of Hyatt brand standards and service excellence
- Respond to guest complaints, coordinate with team members, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.

Qualifications

About You:

- 2 years minimum of experience as a Supervisor in a fast-paced 5 star hotel restaurant environment
- Minimum 2 years of section waiter experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong guest service skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving ability and can do mindset
- Barista experience or the ability to prepare quality coffee is highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
