Columbia Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant and Cleaner to join our vibrant team at Strathdale Centre. You will be versatile and able to display excellent customer service, demonstrate your ability to meet individual customer needs, and grow your career within Aged Care.

The ideal candidates will have a strong focus on protected work practices and be able to adapt to a range of individual resident needs, demonstrated experience in one or more of these areas, knowledge of safe hygiene practices and HACCP Standards, excellent spoken and written communication skills, are able to learn quickly, and have a solid sense of urgency.

What You'll Do:

- Undertake general kitchen to support high quality food services for residents
- Assist with meal service, clear dishware, and support residents' dining requirements
- Complete laundry, linen, restocking and general housekeeping duties.
- Undertake general cleaning duties and maintaining surfaces such as windows and doors
- Follow hygiene, infection control, food safety and WHS procedures.
- Promptly report maintenance issues, hazards, incidents or family concerns.

What You’ll Bring:

- Has Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)
- At least 1 year experience as a catering attendant or cleaner (Desirable)
- Previous experience in aged care (Desirable)
- Has Food Handling Certificate (Essential)




- A strong eye for detail and pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming spaces.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality services and enhancing the resident experience
- Understanding of infection prevention and control practices
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety
- A genuine passion for supporting and caring for older people
