This is a varied, hands-on role combining picking and packing, computer-based distribution systems and local deliveries. You'll prepare orders, maintain accurate records and deliver products between our sites. Some orders are part of our regular weekly distribution, while others may be more urgent, so flexibility and a great service attitude are important. The role will initially be approximately 2–3 days per week, with the potential for increased hours as our distribution function grows.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders ready for distribution
- Use inventory and distribution systems
- Deliver products between Fortress sites
- Load and unload products safely
- Manage regular and urgent orders
- Maintain accurate stock and distribution records
- Work independently and manage daily priorities
About you
- Previous pick/pack, warehouse or distribution experience
- Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, organised and able to work unsupervised
- Physically capable of safely handling and moving stock
- Flexible, with a strong service ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Experience within automotive, paint, parts or a similar environment would be advantageous but isn't essential
