About the role

RAPID COLD AIR CONDITIONING is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Air Conditioning Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in Wantirna South, VIC 3152. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering expert advice on our comprehensive range of air conditioning solutions. You will play a key part in driving revenue growth whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and product knowledge. What you'll be doing

- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with residential and commercial clients to understand their air conditioning requirements

- Providing detailed product knowledge and expert recommendations on air conditioning systems tailored to client needs and budgets

- Preparing and delivering professional quotations and proposals to prospective customers

- Negotiating contract terms and closing sales to achieve or exceed agreed targets

- Collaborating with the installation and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction

- Managing the sales pipeline and maintaining accurate records of all client interactions and transactions

- Attending industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to expand business connections

- Providing after-sales support and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities





- Contributing to team goals and participating in ongoing training to develop sales skills and product expertise

What we're looking for

- Proven sales experience, ideally within the air conditioning, HVAC, construction, home improvement or related service industry

- Strong understanding of air conditioning systems, products and installation processes (or willingness to develop this knowledge)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and present solutions that deliver value

- Solid negotiation skills and a track record of achieving sales targets

- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Full current driving licence and access to reliable transportation

- Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player

- Professional presentation skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service

- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business requirements

- Preferred: Experience in technical sales or selling to both residential and commercial markets
