Leadership opportunity to provide program, practice and system leadership for the Capricornia District High Risk Team and local Integrated Service Response

- Permanent Full-Time Position - Rockhampton
- $124,744 to $129,961 per annum plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options

CatholicCare Central Queensland is a large, vibrant, and highly regarded not-for-profit organisation providing a broad range of quality social services throughout the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton.

The High Risk Team (HRT) Manager provides program, practice and system leadership for the Capricornia District HRT and local Integrated Service Response (ISR), under the direction of the Domestic and Family Violence Service Manager.

- Lead and coordinate the Capricornia District HRT and local ISR, including funded regional outreach and service-system development activity;
- Act as CatholicCare’s designated senior Chairperson for weekly HRT meetings and guide robust, culturally safe and victim-survivor-centred multi-agency risk assessment and safety management;
- Manage HRT and ISR service performance, quality, compliance, workforce capability and operational risk within approved organisational and funding parameters;
- Work in close partnership with the Department’s Integration Manager, recognising the Integration Manager’s regional system-integration, guidance, governance and systemic escalation responsibilities; and
- Lead the HRT workforce while preserving the HRT Coordinator’s responsibility for protocol-defined referral decisions, case workflows and operational coordination.

Core competencies:

- Expert knowledge of DFV dynamics, CRASF, trauma-informed and victim-survivor-centred practice, culturally safe responses and applicable information-sharing requirements;
- Substantial working knowledge of the HRT Protocol, CRASF, Part 5A information-sharing provisions and relevant DFV service requirements;




- Substantial experience leading staff, services or practice improvement and facilitating complex stakeholder forums;
- Substantial experience in specialist domestic and family violence practice, including high-risk assessment, safety planning and work within complex multi-agency environments;
- High level of stakeholder communication and systems leadership skills, including respectful management of disagreement and escalation;
- High level of leadership, judgement and facilitation capability in complex multi-agency settings; and
- High level of program management, quality assurance, analytical and reporting capability.

Essential Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Community Services or a related discipline;
- Completion of CRASF Level 2, Level 3 and Information Sharing training, or capacity to complete within an agreed timeframe; and
- Current C class Driver License (Queensland).

Desirable:

- Postgraduate study in domestic and family violence, leadership, practice governance or a related discipline; and/or
- Eligibility for relevant skilled membership or registration (where applicable).

Other Requirements

• Regular travel within the Diocese and occasional travel outside the Diocese.
