This is a permanent afternoon shift opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for stability, strong earning potential and a contemporary working environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for keeping a modern manufacturing operation running efficiently, including:

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting




- Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Working closely with Production to minimise downtime
- Ensuring all maintenance is completed safely and to a high standard

About You

- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, plastics or heavy industry
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyor systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Australian working rights

Desirable

- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with automated manufacturing machinery
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
