As their business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Leading Hand to join their team and play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, leading by example, and assist in supervising a small team. This is an excellent opportunity for a warehouse skilled who enjoys taking ownership, driving efficiencies, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control processes.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
- Monitor workflow and allocate tasks to maximise productivity.
- Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts as required.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.




- Work collaboratively with management and other departments to meet customer expectations.

Your Profile

- Previous experience in a Warehouse Leading Hand, Team Leader, or Senior Storeperson position.
- A current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to lead from the front.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
