The Role
Tract seeks a agile Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join our Queensland team in our Brisbane office. This is both a statutory and strategic planning role and the successful applicant will be exposed to projects across a range of sectors. Submissions should highlight key projects and describe the sectors where they have greatest town planning experience.
- A successful applicant will have:
- A genuine passion for planning.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- An enthusiastic, proactive and commercial attitude.
- The ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in town planning.
- 2 - 5 years post graduate experience in the Queensland planning system.
- A solid understanding of the Planning Act, Planning Regulations, and Economic Development Act amongst others.
- Demonstrated capabilities in statutory and/or strategic planning projects of various complexities and dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
- Awareness of current planning, development, economic, social and environmental issues.
