About the role
Multiple temporary full time and part time opportunities to provide clinical pharmacy services using experience and expertise in multiple areas within the pharmacy team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams within and external to Pharmacy, and with patients/carers, and actively participate and provide professional advice in this multidisciplinary environment.
- Develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through active learning within the team and on clinical rotations, and by engaging in professional development activities and contributing to qualified knowledge, expertise and skills through presentations.
- Promote quality use of medicines principles, protected medication practices and the role of the pharmacist within the hospital, provide input into relevant policies and procedures, and participate in departmental projects and quality or service improvement activities.
- Exercise independent professional judgement in resolving routine problems, with more complex clinical decisions and problem solving made with limited professional supervision and guidance.
