Milestone IT is currently working with a large retail organisation that is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst with proven experience working on retail Point of Sale (POS) projects. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, improve processes and support the successful delivery of POS-related initiatives across the retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather, document and validate requirements.
- Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the delivery of retail POS projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements sessions.
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and user stories.
- Work closely with development, testing and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Analyse POS processes, integrations and dependencies across the broader retail technology environment.
- Support testing, UAT and issue resolution.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.

About You





We are looking for a Business Analyst who has:

- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within a retail environment.
- Hands-on experience working on retail POS projects – this is essential.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with process mapping, workshops and business process analysis.
- Understanding of retail systems, POS processes and integrations.
- Experience supporting testing/UAT and working within project delivery environments.
- Robust communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
