Tenure: Casual
Location: Kyabram and Echuca (plus other locations across the Campaspe Shire)
Remuneration: $42.40 per hour + superannuation

Campaspe Shire Council is looking for reliable and community-minded individuals to join our team as School Crossing Supervisors. In this important role, you will help ensure children, families, and other pedestrians can safely cross roads near schools.

About the Role
The School Crossing Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise children and vehicles at school crossings and pedestrian lights.
- Reinforce the Stop, Look, Listen and Think road safety message to children using the crossing.
- Ensure flags are positioned and displayed correctly while operating the crossing.
- Ensure traffic flow is not unduly disrupted by pedestrians crossing the road, especially school buses.
- Ensure all vehicles are stationary before allowing pedestrians access to the crossing.
- Ensure that all pedestrians have crossed the roadway and are completely behind the red line before vacating the crossing.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Demonstrated understanding of road traffic regulations and rules.
- Strong Communication skills.
- A valid Driver’s Licence.
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
- Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
