IMPORTANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT

This is a hands‑on, on‑site position based at our Surfers Paradise office, with regular fieldwork across the Gold Coast. It is not a remote or work‑from‑home role. Applicants must currently live on the Gold Coast or within a practical daily commuting distance.

Holiday Property Service is part of HPS Group. We support hundreds of short‑term rental properties across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, providing housekeeping, hire linen, quality control and guest services. We do not provide property management.

We have completed more than 72,000 property services and currently manage approximately 1,200 to 1,500 cleans each month across hundreds of properties on the Gold Coast.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A silo is a self‑contained operation with its own portfolio of properties, team and performance targets. As Operations Supervisor, you will take ownership of the daily performance of your silo.

You will lead a team of approximately 50 cleaners, supported by a Quality Control Team Leader and an Operations Virtual Assistant who report directly to you. You will report to our Operations Lead.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing daily cleaner allocation, coverage and operational priorities
- Monitoring the live operational day and responding quickly to changes
- Leading, coaching and developing cleaners and support team members
- Coordinating rework through to verified completion
- Resolving property‑access, key and linen issues
- Maintaining scheduling, photo, timestamp and reporting discipline in Operto




- Communicating professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams
- Conducting field visits and supporting quality‑control standards
- Taking ownership when an operational issue requires an immediate solution

When everything runs smoothly, nobody notices. This role exists for the days when it does not — a missing key, a cleaner unavailable during a busy changeover, or a property manager calling about a unit that is not right. You take ownership, coordinate the solution and see it through.

ROSTER

- Weekdays: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- The two Supervisors alternate weekends
- Weekend shifts are six hours and are worked from the Surfers Paradise office
- On your rostered weekend, you will work a continuous Friday‑to‑Tuesday block
- This creates an eight‑day working period once a fortnight, followed by a clear Saturday and Sunday the next week

ABOUT YOU

Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, cleaning, accommodation or property services would be valuable, but judgement, accountability and attitude matter just as much.

- Currently live on the Gold Coast or within practical commuting distance
- Be available to work on‑site in Surfers Paradise and complete regular fieldwork
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Have full, unrestricted Australian working rights, as the roster cannot be delivered with capped working hours
- Be organised, calm under pressure and comfortable leading a large operational team
- Be willing to lead by example and take ownership of outcomes
