Role Description

The Store Manager role at Palermo Perfumes is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate cash handling. This role includes leading and coaching the sales team, setting performance expectations, and supporting training on product knowledge and customer service standards. The Store Manager is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring the store environment is clean, safe, and visually appealing. The role also involves monitoring sales performance,



implementing retail loss prevention measures, and collaborating with management on promotions and targets.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating a positive in-store experience.
- Demonstrated Store Management experience, including supervising staff, managing operations, and overseeing daily retail activities.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, guiding team members, and coordinating with leadership.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and maintain compliance with store policies.
- Experience in retail or specialty fragrance, beauty, or fashion environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Sydney, NSW, including weekends and peak trading periods as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory control.
- Previous supervisory or management experience and familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting are preferred.
