About This Role

- You will help people understand guardianship and decision-making processes.

- Fixed-Term (12 months), full-time role earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.

What You Will Do

As information officer, you will give transparent advice about guardianship and decision-making.

You will help people understand their options and access the right support.

You Will

- give clear information about guardianship, administration and enduring powers of attorney
- respond to calls and written questions, and refer complex matters when needed
- assess high-risk matters and make notifications under agreed procedures
- provide short-term advocacy that supports people's rights, choices and dignity
- research service issues, update resources and help improve information services.

About You

No qualification is required for this role. A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential.

You Should Also Have

- strong knowledge of Victoria's disability, mental health and aged care services
- clear communication skills,



both when speaking and writing
- good judgement to solve problems and explain complex information simply
- inclusive and calm communication skills when supporting people in difficult situations.
