They are growing and looking for a PR Account Manager or established PR Senior Account Executive to join their Sydney team. This is a role for someone experienced, composed, strong media relationships and strategically sharp. Someone who can own relationships, guide accounts, and deliver outcomes.

The Role Reporting to the PR Account Director, you will manage a portfolio of retained PR clients. This is a hands-on Account Manager role. You will lead client communication, guide media strategies, and oversee execution. You will also collaborate with their freelance network and multi-department projects to ensure the standard of their work remains high.

What’s Required:

- Lead day-to-day client relationships with clarity and confidence
- Develop and oversee media strategies across retained accounts
- Shape messaging and ensure quality copywriting across all written materials
- Cultivate and maintain strategic media relationships to drive coverage conversions
- Identify robust, commercially relevant story angles
- Drive proactive and strategic pitching to Australian and New Zealand media outlets
- Oversee timelines and workflow across your accounts
- Produce data-driven reports highlighting results, insights, and measurable ROI
- Support creative brainstorms and campaign development




- Actively seek out ways to add value, anticipating needs and delivering solutions without prompting
- Liaise with freelancers and network partners as required
- Maintain accountability for results, not just activity

What they are Looking For:

- 4 to 6 years’ PR agency experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage accounts
- Confidence advising senior stakeholders
- Strong national media relationships
- Ability to turn complex briefs into clear, compelling narratives
- Can generate high volumes of media coverage for your allocated client patch
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how PR supports business growth
- Calm, organised and solutions-oriented
- Genuine interest in sustainability, impact and purpose-led brands

**Agency experience is essential. Sustainability expertise is not required, but intellectual curiosity and care for the space is.

They are not a volume agency. They work directly with founders, CEOs and senior marketing leaders. Their clients trust them with complex and often scrutinised communications. The work requires judgement, rigour and strategic thinking. They measure success beyond vanity metrics. Coverage matters, but so does sentiment, positioning and commercial impact.
