Position Profile

The Recovery Centre Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, coordination and implementation for Mental Health recovery programs at the Broome Community Recovery Centre (BCRC), which aims to create a supportive environment that engages mental health clients in a more culturally appropriate way outside the traditional health service environment in order to increase access to health services and promote healthy behaviours.

- An understanding of what a recovery based framework means for a mental health services
- The ability to engage well with internal and external stakeholders and build positive working relationships




- Skills in being able to implement change and ensure an effective recovery based mental health program is embedded within the Broome Community Recovery Centre.
