Laneway Talent is partnering with a well-established Australian organisation to find an experienced Transformation Lead to take ownership of a major technology and business transformation.

This is a high-profile, business-critical program requiring someone who knows how to take complex transformation from strategy and planning through to implementation and go-live.

We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front, bring people together and keep delivery moving someone who is comfortable operating at an executive level but isn’t afraid to get into the detail when it matters.

The Opportunity

As the Transformation Lead, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of technology and business transformation initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organisation.

You’ll bring together technology, people and processes to ensure the organisation is ready for change and that the program delivers the intended business outcomes.

This is a role for a strong delivery leader who can establish direction, create accountability and confidently navigate complexity.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead the transformation from planning and design through to implementation and go-live.
- Establish strong program governance, milestones, reporting and accountabilities.
- Manage key vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery and performance remain on track.
- Own the program budget, costs, benefits and financial reporting.
- Lead organisational change, communication, readiness and adoption activities.
- Build strong relationships across operational teams, senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and resources.
- Provide clear and concise reporting to senior executives on progress, risks and key decisions.
- Ensure multiple workstreams remain aligned to the overall transformation strategy.





What We’re Looking For

You’ll have a robust track record of successfully delivering large-scale technology transformation or system implementation programs from start to finish.

You’ll understand that successful transformation is about more than technology. You’ll know how to bring people along, manage competing priorities and ensure the business is genuinely ready for change.

- Demonstrated experience delivering major IT transformation or system implementation programs end-to-end.
- Strong program governance and delivery management experience.
- Experience managing budgets, commercial outcomes and vendors.
- Proven experience across data migration, testing, cutover and go-live.
- Strong organisational change and stakeholder management capability.
- Exceptional communication skills and confidence engaging with senior executives.
- The ability to operate strategically while getting into the detail when required.
- A strong understanding of business processes, technology and transformation delivery.

Experience across digital platforms, enterprise systems or other large-scale technology transformations will be highly regarded.
